The Chimney in the background is 1.5km from my home where I took this photo from.
The focal length equivalent for 35mm is 742.5mm

It is mildly cropped. No other editing. I took the Q out today on a very misty walk from Kirby Malzeard, and managed to get some good results. Here are a few of them.

It's a night bright clear morning. :D
Here are a couple of 100% crops from my bedroom window.

First the standard 8.5mm (50mm equiv f1.9 prime)

And here's the house in the centre of the first shot using the 135mm 742.5mm equiv Tokina f2.8.

Here's the uncropped Tokina image. As you can see, there's a lot of glare from the low sun. I'll have another go later.

Here's the Q with the Tokina 135mm f2.8 mounted. The standard 8.5mm prime is alongside for comparison.
The telephoto rig drop neatly into my walking jacket breast pocket. Handheld shots are ok now I've updated the firmware so that the anti-shake works. :D

OK, This is about as good as it gets with the Tokina 135mm lens I think. This was at f8 with the sun a bit higher. Some purple fringing, but not bad really. Sharpness is even across the frame. I'm not sure what the forum does to the image (it has been compressed from 220k to 13k) but the original looks better on my screen.

Thanks for showing us this little guy Rog.
You sure have pushed it to its limits. I traded something for three of the little Pentax 110's many years ago, which the Q is based upon. They were fun.

Tim, yes, how else can you take a 740mm f2.8 telephoto capability on a lightweight backpacking trip? The Q is unique as a small sensor interchangeable lens camera. It would be nice if it supported a high res electronic viewfinder, but hey, maybe next year. At least the firmware update which added the anti-shake to manual lenses also added focus peaking - one of the benefits of the Ricoh Pentax hook-up.
