NOT difficult to see witch one is the A12 and witch one is the P10... (I don't like the P10 very much).
Actually, it's not easy for me to tell the difference between the lenses (especially since I don't own the 28mm), but I'm guessing the first two were taken with the P10 (colours are a little too vivid) :?: But I'm probably wrong...I haven't experienced many different lenses, so I can't really compare, but I quite like my P10. I think it's very underrated, and it's capable of producing excellent results if the image settings are tweaked to get the max out of this lens. At its best settings, it produces amazing colour and stunning B&W. Same with the CX3 I used previously. Sure, they're not high-end lenses, but set right, they can produce images that rival those produced by the high-end glass, IMHO. The images produced at full zoom, and with 27cm macro are also quite impressive, if the camera is stabilised enough. The P10 has its limitations, but what it can do is amazing, especially considering it is a "lower-end" lens.
Since I cannot afford the more expensive lenses, I have to try to get the best out of what I can afford, so I don't think about what the P10
cannot do, but rather, I think about what I
can do with it. To be honest, since I haven't had the opportunity to use high-end glass, I have a certain naivety and ignorance about what I might be "missing out" on, but this is what enables me to be satisfied with what I
have got, and to try and get the best out of it. This, I think, can be a good thing, as it will make me a better photographer. I am actually really thankful to Ricoh for producing a more affordable lens for the GXR, and one which can also produce excellent pictures. If it weren't for this lens, I would not have been able to have the "GXR experience". So for me, the P10 is just right
