While the human subject is interesting I find myself looking at the Audi TT in the background. I haven't seen them with a white roof like that before. Looks cool :geek:
Andy, it's a bit too underexposed and TIm is right about distracting background. I'm not a friend of heavy postprocessing (in terms of selective changes), but this time I would try to defocus the background a bit?
I thought (slightly tongue in cheek) that if the make and model of the cars was not so obvious it might deflect the attention of the eye towards my intended subject...
Interesting defocus. Now it looks like the lens of your camera suffers from a really bad disease.
Also it has recalled me some trials I had seen to photograph from inside of a bus or train.
I think the lens has seen enough of the day...just like the shopper on the crossing!
Would the best solution be to darken the background ('dodge' in the old dark room sense?) but I no longer possess any software which to acheive this...
I once had a Minolta negative scanner with Adobe bundled sofware which (I think I correctly recall) allowed me to select part of the scene and lighten/darken...sadly not Vista compatible...just like the scanner!
