Interesting abstract. The three radial cracks in the stone or concrete or what it is are a wise detail to make the background more attracting.

It is a wooden 'bollard' set in concrete (used for tying up boats in the harbour in former times). Both are very old though...I just loved the weathered texture of the wood...

Ah, now I see it. The picture looks so flattened, it's like the top of the bollard is lying directly on the ground. This would have made a good "Guess what it is".
