Off-camera Flash

In the past I have used a very heavy DSLR setup for event shooting

Fill on camera axis and an off camera softbox - using 2 x Canon 600EX-RT with ETTL balance by ratio.

I thought it might be fun to do it with my Ricoh GR, I could use the onboard flash for fill and and off-camera flash for key.

I believe I might be able to put my Canon flash on the Ricoh GR - but not sure what I need to do to get it working off-camera. Any one know?

The 600ex-rt works but not in conjunction with my st-e3-rt

Just an update the YN-E3-RT did not work with the Ricoh - if you press the test button then took a photo - it sometimes worked, but nothing reliable or usable.

I sold the Ricoh GR, and am waiting for a RX1R - bye bye Ricoh

Update.

i use radio-controlled wireless trigger like the Phottix Ares when doing off-camera flash photography with my GR. my main light or key light is a Nikon SB-800 with Sunpak PF20XD is slave mode either as kicker light or fill light.
