Night street settings

Hi guys,
Which are the best settings for street photography for the night shoots with snap focus?
I can't find my perfect setting.

I haven't had the chance to take my GR out at night yet, but I have been thinking about doing so to document all the ills and spills of that dirty nightlife that goes on. Anyway, I would most probably set my GR to Av (it never leaves that mode anyway), ISO at around 1600 or 3200 (depends on the light in the scene), and with f4 set in snap mode...I'd see what that gets me. It's not a difficult thing to comprehend really.

I'm guessing MikePenn should come in on this one...
