Greetings , old friends and new ,
I recently took advantage of the sale at Henrys and bought my first new [ as in not pre-owned ] Ricoh . A GRD IV . I am troubled , dear friends , at how much slower the "write time" is than my GRD III . Do any of you have any advice as to what I can do or is this just the nature of the beast ? I have turned everything to off that I can possibly do without . It has the 2.11 firmware , which is hardly current but when I read on the Ricoh site what the changes each firmware version has brought about , nowhere do I see a mention of "write time" . I have a super fast card . I just can't imagine that it should be slower than the GRD III . Please , if you have any tips I would be indebted .
