New GX100 firmware 1.51 released!

Hi.
I accurately went over the installation description but still do not get the firmware installed on my GX100. After storing the update files (slaunch3, slaunch7) on my camera's SD card I used the video modus and by pressing playback & macro I see my current firmware version on the screen (1.16). After this nothing happens. I tried both, the PC update and storing the update files manually on the SD card. Both with the same result: the update is not installed. I also checked firmware 1.50 with the same result. Any hints ?
 
Hi Marcello and welcome on board!

Are you sure you started the update procedure? After uploading slaunch3 and slaunch7 files to the SD card, you need to run the update procedure. Turn the camera OFF and switch it to Movie mode. Then press and hold Mode and Playback buttons.

After 1-2 secs, you should get a message "Execute?" with Yes/No buttons. Then simply press [Yes] and wait for end of update process. Hope this helps?
 
Helped! Mixed up the 'check firmware' and 'run update' button combination. Thx for the fast answer. 1.51 installed.

How to check the software version in my gx100. I upgrade to ver. 1.51 and I'm not sure whether everything is OK.
