New GRIV $400 and introduction

Hi Folks,
Short version of a long story. I sadly have a million cameras. Well, almost. Bought a new Pen when they came out....used it twice I think. Bought a Pentax KX (I think that's the model) with four lenses....maybe used it twice. Have two M2s and two Contax G2s..... Anyway, as soon as the Ricoh was first out, yes, the film version, I bought that. And, I don't have to tell you what a great camera it is.
Where am I going here?
Held off buying the first GR because of the negative reviews. I should have looked at the snaps.
Bought the GRII...and, yes that's the camera I've used since buying it. I'd get ready to go on a trip...look at all the cameras....and yes, I'd take the GRII.
About a year or so ago bought one of the original GRs. Using it for B&W only. Frankly, haven't used it that much but I really like it.
Anyway, a pal bought a GRIV about a year ago and when the white ones went on sale I almost bought one. In fact, I think I made a post here at that time......
OK, yesterday learned about the GRV....
I'm sure it's great. But, $800........
Yes, I've surely spent that before....
But, nah.
The GRII has served me so well for my kind of snap shooting.
B&H no longer has a new IV.
Popflash was I think about $500.
Anyway, when I saw a new one on Adorama...well, it's on the way.
Yes, I will readily admit, some of my favorite shooting times was with one of my M2s and one lens. Check the light meter occasionally and wander about snapping. But the GR is right there with the Leica for pure enjoyment and ease of use.
Yes, and I'm telling myself I'm going to get out there and use this camera. Have already planned a couple of trips.
Hope I haven't bored you folks too much.
Happy snapping.
Regards,
George

PS. OK, here's a link to a truly ordinary website that I started years ago with great expectations that went no where...
Hope I can improve a little.......

NOTE: Well, got a back order notice from Adorama. Called PopFlash, yes, one of the sponsors here. I was wrong, their price wasn't $500. Anyway, bought the camera from them. Service amazing. Ten minutes after I got off the phone had an email with USPS tracking number. Thanks for the great service, Alex and Tony.

I just bought a GRV IV from B&H, apparently one of the last ones because they no longer have it, for $399. Then some clown posts a link for a Hawaiian site that sells them new for $299. Happens everytime...

BTW: welcome to the Ricoh forum
