New GR

I collected my new GR today after procrastinating for too long, I have owned a number of Ricoh's and always loved them.

The GR like all previous Ricoh's is a camera designed by photographers for photographers - small and solid and with all the right controls that are easy to access.

I managed to grab some images and so far so good, the APS-C sensor certainly delivers.

It is a long time since I owned a Ricoh and I had almost forgotten how small and capable they are.

The APS-C sensor certainly makes a huge difference and allows it to compete favourably with many other APS-C sensored cameras that have a larger footprint.

Just got to get back into Ricoh and master the controls.

Iansky- I too am new to the GR and look forward to your postings.
Were the images that were posted on the Vivid setting or similar in post processing?
Any effects used?

Thank you all for the feedback.

Because the GR is so small and it is a good 5yrs since I last used one, I have forgotten just how capable they are and the IQ from the APS-C sensor is stunning.

All in all, a fun filled small, capable camera that can be always with me.
