New GR fan

Hi,

Just saying hello.

Bought the new Ricoh GR Digital and have been exploring the menu syste.

Yet to take any images, weather not too good today.
My other camera is the Sony RX1 , but I wanted an even more compact every day camera and the GR FITS THE BILL NICELY.

Welcome Denis. It seems the weather is bad all over the world. That's why you didn't get a faster response. You have a great camera there and it will open many doors for you.

Speak for the northern hemisphere Don

Two weeks in the far south of New Zealand produced really nice weather except for two wet days and one cold one. Back "home" in Australia the weather has been 20C but we have had rain, but cannot complain as it has not been cold and we needed the rain anyway.

The sun is shining sweetly at the moment in between some nice fluffy clouds. Must go and take some photographs ...

Hi Denis,

Welcome to the forum. Congrats on the new camera.
The Sony RX1 is one of those grail cameras for me.
I really like the IQ from it. I think the RX1 and GR would make a good complimentary pair.

Hope to see pics from either. You can post RX1 images in the "other camera" section (occasionally I sneak one elsewhere)
