Ya gotta love Ricoh for the names & model numbers they give cameras.
800 EES which means 1/800 sec. & Electronic Exposure System.
Its a little quicker than a 500 & has an electronic shutter.
Great little camera Genster, have fun.

I remember,wen i am 25,near 1970,Ricoh was since 2 very nices cameras,
Rangefinder and CDS photometter,lens Tessar Type F2,4 automatic,and easy flash automatic system with a manual flash,just setting GN !
And a same machine but equiped with F1,7 Planar type.
I am speaking of Supershot 1,7 an Supershot 2,4 Ricoh
About,has since a proximetter,for close-up,with paralax correction
Nice cameras,hight quality builtded,great lenses.
