The coloured spot lights were quite crazy but the result came out quite well IMHO.
Curious, as always, about your reactions.

He needs to polish that trumpet and get rid of the cheap nylon suit!

Nice photo.

Rog, that's why he's playing the bluez....

I like the photo and I'm sure the player would love it....cheap suite and all...

Well Marcus Millers SAX is pretty dull to look at too, its how the things used.
The light isnt really worth woorying about but this has come out nicely, although it would be nice to see the exif data.

Not a blues man, Don. At least not that time. You would be surprised how catching quick and rhythmic Balkan music all the band presented.

Nice one Peter. I really like the red lighting. It sets a certain mood.
I used to do lighting for bands when I was younger so I know this colour light is generally used for the mellow parts of a song, especially solos.
And....brass musicians know that you never polish your instrument  , and age will usually improve it :D . And thanks Paul, I thought Marcus Miller was/is a bass player of some repute, not knowing he is a multi-instrumentalist till your mentioning his name peaked my curiosity. Very cool.

... only kidding...
Rog, you better had to, otherwise... I do not know what. ;)
What I like about musicians is the fact they are so kind to each other...

Peter

I played a family hand me down 1933 Coronet and there's no way I'd polish that thing. I was the different one amongst the other brass players!

Thank you all for your interesting input. I can only admire anybody able to produce good music. It really is not my case being maximally able to blow a harmonica. :)

Peter, I can cut a mean bluez guitar and if I have enough single malt, I can even bang the keys and make it sound like something but....
for over 50 years I have tried and failed the bluez harp.
You sir have my deepest respect if you can blow the harmonica....

Peter, only kidding, I'm an impoverished musician too.

I've recently been told that most musicians at least 99.998% of them are impoverished.

Don, it is kind of you. Sadly nobody said it is music what comes out of the harmonica in my case though. :)
