More of a Reintroduction

Hi Folks,

As I said 'nore of a reintroduction'. It's been a long while, and a few cameras, since I was here on the forum, but after rediscovering my GX100 this past couple of weeks I've fallen in love with it over again. So much so I've just landed a GRD I with wide adaptor, which should arrive in the next couple of days.

Since last time here I've been using a Sigma DP1 and DP2, a Samsung EX1, and a Samsung NX10. The EX1 seemed (on the face of it) what the GX300 might have been, alas, and despite its excellent lens and image quality, it just doesn't have the handy size nor the fantastic handling of my little Ricoh.

Here's looking forward to playing with my GRD, who knows, I may even be persuaded into purchasing a GRD IV in the close guture (assuming I can flog some other gear)? :D
 
No problem, all's fair in auction houses, and I'm getting along fine with my GX200. :D

Do you get up on the moors around Hurstwood or Extwhistle?
 
No, I don't get out around the moors, unless I'm passing through them to go to football matches. I'm definately more of your town dwelling type.
 
Ok, the GRD has arrived and is in fine condition, as is the wide adaptor lens. I'll have an evening of finding my way around it, followed by using it as a mono jpeg shooter.

First thoughts, I wish the screen was better, and I'd forgotten how far we'd come in writing speeds in the last few years. :eek:
