So let's all post some pictures!

Richard

OK Richard. I have been visited this forum from time to time, but not posted much. One reason is that I often find that any question that I might have, already have been asked and answered by other users, most of them talented people with great knowledge. But then there`s always the photos and I could have posted more and earlier.

The picture above is great. I have followed Duane Pandorfs photography for some time, both here and elsewhere on the internet. Partly because of what I saw on his pages I bought a Ricoh GXR A12 and a Minolta M-Rokkor 40/2. I am familiar with Ricoh cameras, I used a GR1 for years. The posted images are not very joyful, this time of the year, where I live, there is almost no light left.

esp -thanks for responding to the 'post pictures plea' and what a great set. #3 has me really intrigued - what is that in the water? Have you made a mirror image? Very graphic and far more artistic than anything I achieve. More please. Every image gives inspiration.

Richard

Fantastic simplicity Duane!

Esp, in order not to repeat, fabulous, simple geometry in #3...are those traces rain?

Thank you for your comments. The thing in the water is some kind of platform used for taking a bath in the summertime. It is connected to a beach by a floating "bridge" (you can see the start of it). It is supposed to float but isn“t at the moment.
It is not a mirror image.

Thank you, the traces are wet snow.

Inspiring images here, just lovely.

Re quiet: I think now and again people have a moment when they think......I can't do this anymore....and take a break. I think a number of us had it at the same time.

Nice, nice images...
Duane, your image would not make it to the front of any 'normal' travel agents wall, but I really get where you are coming from with this...John Steinbeck book cover perhaps?
Grapes of Wrath...

esp, love #3 in particular...minimalism at its best!
