London Street with Ricoh GRD3 260412

Come rain or shine, a pal and I walked the streets of central London to shoot some candid's. Met Prince William and Kate on route too! Not exactly radical gritty urban....but makes a change from the usual.

Prince William by the trunk, Kate in blue to left of car.

Thanks guys. I have to keep pinching myself at that little wonder of a camera...the GRD3. It is sublime, well certainly for me anyway.

What settings do you use typically? Any post-processing?
Do you use a viewfinder/back of the camera or do you just shoot from the hip?

hello friend. Sometimes from the hip if really necessary. Mostly I just raise my arm to shoulder height and "bang" job done. I know instinctively now if the camera is more or less on target. I cannot afford to take much time to compose.....I have a couple of seconds before my Parkinson's tremor sets in. Although I am right handed and Parkinson's mainly affects my left hand. My evil left hand tells my right hand to mess with my mind when I want to do something. I have the last laugh! mwaaahaa, mwaha-ha-haa, mwaaaahhaaa-hahhaaaaa!

I have the snap function set for 2.5m. If I can get away with it shutter at 250 and iso at auto high. I post process all my street shots with Silver efex pro 2. I have settled on my style of post process now and don't think I will ever change it.

Thanks for your interest, I appreciate it.

All good street work in your inimitable style......the last one being the absolute standout for me though. ;)

Amazing set indeed! You've managed to capture some real "decisive moments" here. Stand-outs for me are: third, fourth, eleventh, fourteenth, seventeenth, eighteenth, twentieth, and the last one. Excellent work indeed ;) .
