Nice views although some members of this cute family may be deadly dangerous. It is highly recommended to collect just what one perfectly knows (or to buy what markets offer :) ).

I see your collection is growing nicely, Richard. Sadly I had no good opportunity to go out for some to collect yet this year. Maybe later, maybe not. :)

Thanks. Yes, the collection is growing - here are 4 more taken today. I think these illustrate the qualities of the GRD4 macro quite well.

This one was about as big as my thumb and was shot at about 3cm.

A nice catch Richard. It indeed looks like an edible species. I would dare to tip it is Boletus, possibly pinophilus or edulis. Then it is one of the top-notch sort.
