Congratulations on the aquisition of the GXR. I was trying to recall your earlier post but it was bought with the P10 module?

Like the image, I am not normally concerned over bokeh but I find the bokeh on your image is pleasing.
I like the soft lighting, no harsh shadows and this is a good healthy plant sample you have found.

Judging by the date of this video you and I would be a similar age.

i got the one with the 24 - 72 VC ( S10 ). I tried the P10 but it was not as good as my GRD 2. And i don`t need such a big zoom lens. The S10 is much better and closer to the quality that i am used to have with GRD.
I took the picture from the flower with macro mode and 72mm. That makes a very beautiful blur. I am looking forward for the 28mm with APSC Sensor and i will visit Ricoh at the Photokina in Cologne at the end of September to have a look at this one and maybe some other new things for GXR. I will put some pictures to the forum when i am back from the photokina. The old film you have seen on my flickr page was taken in the middle 60`s and i am born in 1961 ( August ). So, the half century is almost done.....

Wow, we are closer in age than i thought, I am also August 1961. That half century while being a milestone is also a bit scary :cry:
