Hello Ricoh Forum!

I am a student from Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada. I have recently re-discovered my father's Ricoh KR-10 camera and am incredibly excited to start taking pictures. I bought 6 rolls of film and have already shot 3. One of the rolls ended up as a blank negative and the other two over 80% of the pictures didn't develop. I am a complete idiot and need expert advise. I know my camera has much potential and I can't wait to explore it. I was wondering what type of lens should I look into and where can I find such, also my flash doesn't seem to work, is that because I need to change the camera's battery?

I can't want to participate in the contests and discussions in this forum, I look forward to being part of the Ricoh obsession!

Thanks,

Wilson

bring her to some camera repair shop. Maybe there is a problem with film transpirt.
re flash, maybe the tube is bust or something. Just have her serviced, that's always a good idea for old recovered cameras that you plan to use.
and a new battery is also a good idea. I don't know it, but most likely the lightmeter needs it to expose properly?

have fun! My last roll of film was developed some 10 years ago I think :)

Hi Wilson and welcome here! I'm not sure how many KR-10 are visiting this forum? I think the best thing you can do would be to consult the KR-10 manual. If you no longer have the manual, you can find it here:

The flash problem sounds like something broken? It's hard to say if it's camera or flash issue. Of course, replacing the camera battery is a very good idea, especially if it was not used for many years. Hope this will help. Can't wait to see some photos! ;)
