Hey everyone. I'm Mike, and I just bought the GR Digital 3. It's my first Ricoh, and also my first "higher-end" camera. I've always used basic point and shoot digital before this, so I'm still slowly learning the ropes of more professional looking digital photography. I spent the summer in Paris where I played with my friend's GR Digital 2 quite often, and I fell in love with it. Most of what I shoot will probably just end up on personal websites and blogs, but I plan on shooting in Raw just for the hell of it. I guess that's it!

Hi Mike and welcome on the bright side! 
I can imagine how you felt when you first touched GRD. People often don't understand it until they touch it and then they are lost. Don't forget to show us your web and some photos! And don't hesitate to ask for help with RAW processing or anything about GRD.

Hi Harry and welcome to the friendliest photography forum on the net! I also started my Ricoh adventures with the GRD II and upgraded recently to the GRD III. You have joined at an interesting time with all the banter on the GRX. Sure looks interesting.
