Red ring makes it looking like Canon's L-serie lens, but i guess Ricoh's red ring is much cheaper, so why not? :D
 
I guess if you have the money to spare, why not, for me I'd rather put the funds to a 21mm lens. It would be nice if those books on the page Pavel has linked to were translated into English and other languages so we could all enjoy. :(
 
Nice... but it looks like a stop sign! Unless you want to be seen all the time... Thanks, I prefer to be invisible! (I mostly wear black clothes when I´m out with my Ricoh)
 
I like the red ring (as I have one for GRDI/II). But the red grip is probably a bit too much? ;) But I would not mind to have brown/dark-brown leather grip. At least if it would be made from a real leather.
