Interesting artifact/relic?

I walked into a local camera store this morning, not a Ricoh stockist BTW ( there's only one or two left in Sydney, till they run out!). On one low-down shelf lay a lonely plastic-bag covered vest with 'GR Digital' emblazoned (in bright yellow!) on an up-facing pocket. In sheer disbelief I asked the salesman about it. He knew nothing. Not even a price. Then the manager walked back into the store after his break..... He'd had it given to him by an Australian Ricoh rep, had never even taken it out of the bag and was willing to hand it over, after some haggling, for the princely sum of au$20!
I may never use it (then again I may!) but I imagine these things may be hard to come by...apparently arriving with the first shipment of GRD1's into the country.

That looks like something you could even use - but not if you are a stealth street photographer! I'd forgotten about camera vests - they were very popular once up a time and there are many fishing vests these days that would do a similar job. Looks like a bargain here and I think it would improve with some use.

Thanks for your comment Genster.......I've spent some time looking and can find no mention of them anywhere.
