In Remembrance - December 7

Hi Duane,
I'm guessing that this end of the wall is in memory of American servicemen and woman who have lost their lives in recent conflicts?
I'm not sure if there IS a UK equivalent...

December 7, 1941 marks the date when Pearl Harbor was attacked. I just happened to have recently taken this photograph while in San Diego traveling. This is muriel in memory of those that have served in our military and is located at Mount Soledad in La Jolla, California.

Thanks for the information Duane. In Europe, 11th November is our most notable date of rememberance, and of course marking the end rather than the beginning of a conflict.

We ANZACs have a minutes silence at 11am on the 11th day of the 11th month to remember those we lost.
"Lest We Forget".

Next year I will stop to remember those on the 7th Dec also.
A good tribute Duane.
