After my GR II spent the last 2.5 years more or less in the cabinet, because I preferred the GR IIIx, I was in the mood to use the 28mm instead of the 40mm, again. I'm still very happy with the quality delivered by the GR II, and I still prefer the positive film effect of the II over that of the IIIx. It's best to have both in your bag.
