The tone, together with the borders, it gives me a 19-th century photography feel which i had tried to emulate without success.

Hello leews, I'm glad you like my image. My background is from analogue photography and I prefer that rough, grainy surface in my images. I try to emulate that 'filmy' feeling in my digital works.

Hello odklizec, my technique is generally called 'grunge'. You could ask google and you will find plenty of ways of doing this. Try http://www.bittbox.com/photoshop/reverse-grunge-easy-texture-technique-in-photoshop-and-others/. Very interresting!
