How to read the shutter count?

Does anyone know how to read the shutter count for the 'Ricoh Caplio GX'?
I actually have the Rollei dr5100, which I believe to be the same camera?

Try
1. Turn the mode dial to SETUP.
2. While pressing both the down arrow button and the telephoto button, turn the power on.
3. A table will be displayed on the monitor. If "V 1.00" (or a lower number) is displayed in the CPU2 field, you will need to update your camera's firmware to the most recent version. SH is the shot counter.
Note: This screen will be displayed for about 20 seconds. You will not be able to turn the power off or use any of the other functions during this time. Please wait until this display finishes, at which point the SETUP screen will be displayed

I have a GX8 which is almost the same. I found the buttons a little hard to use.
See if you can find a HA-1 & DW-4 to go wide angle. The ring around the lens should screw off. Also your lens has a small nick at its base like the GX8.

Thanks for that...
I am surprised it's only got 1071 shots on it, even though it looks like new!

I'm afraid, Flickr does not display Ricoh shutter count stored in EXIF. You will have to use Exiftool to display all meta tags to be able to check this number (and many more hidden values). But at the moment, it's much easier to check the number of actuations directly from the camera (using Phil's steps).
