Finally decided to join forum. I'm film Ricoh user - P&S, SLRs and fixed lens RF's. After I've revived XR-P (XR-20sp got stuck because of my mistake) I feel Ricoh means something to me. I like Ricoh company as making fine, advanced, sometimes even niche photographic gear over time (in that sense they are similar to Pentax), so...so....let's have some time together!

Hi btgc and welcome on board! Nice to see someone is still using film cameras! You are a very rare kind of animal in these days 
I like the look of film photos and feel of handling the old school cameras. And old Ricoh film cameras (particularly GR and R500 range) are really nice pieces of HW to own and use. I hope we will soon see some of your photos?

Do your 800EE works as supposed?
I will not repost pics from my flickr, rather will go out shoot roll with XR-P to see if everything is fine with it.
Since acquiring XR-P I feel urge to write mini-review, comparing it to XR-20sp (30sp in US) which I used before. Both are substantial cameras, well equipped workhorses.
