I bought a GRD in Jan.08, after struggling with the controls of my first digital camera Nikon Cooplpix E5000 for two years. It was an incredible change! Last year I bought a GX100 to be better prepared for our little son (portraits..) and to see if the "my" settings might come in handy. A few weeks ago I bought a CX3 for the video capabilities (son again) and to test if I could make use of the tele lens.
In the good old days I take my Yashica T5 (only 100 ISO films) with me on hillwalking tours, city and cycling trips. My photographic skills are "undeveloped", but I'm willing to learn more. I think the "G"-RIcohs are capable to support me on that road.
More about my experiences with the cameras, the Ricoh service and some accessories will follow soon (hopefully).
