Hi from Carlos

Hi I go by the Artistic name of Carlos DelRey. I currently live in London but I am a native from the Rock of Gibraltar.

After much research I choose a Ricoh GRD3 and extremely happy with it. The sytle of photography I like is to fill a frame with a story, to find a street scene and hopefully make it come to life through the medium of photography. I do take a lot of black and white photos and occassionaly portraits and landscapes.

I love the fast response you get from the Ricoh and the unique textures of the black and white pictures. I recently bought the 20mm extension and have produced some interesting results. I woudl be interested to hear about results from other members. I am also interested to see what other lens can be used with this camera and would very much like to see Ricoh produce a 40mm lens.

Hi Carlos and welcome on the board! It's always nice to see new people genuinely interested Ricoh Fax&Copy machines that can actually take photos There are some nice photos at your Flickr! I hope you will enjoy the nice little community we have here

Thanks so much for your warm welcome Pavel. Indeed I love my camera and I always get many compliments about it when I use it in the streed as I use the lens hood with the extender and the viewfinder and it looks quite retro.

If there is another meet in London I would love to come along.
