I am an avid shooter of Leica M cameras and the Ricoh GR1v. I tend to collect old, weird point and shoot cameras and came across the GR1v while reading reviews on high end compacts. The idea of an aperture priority compact camera piqued my interest so I waited until one popped up locally, in SF. I bought the camera last year and have used it ever since.

I have put innumerable amounts of film through this camera. My Leica M camera sees less use because of my Ricoh. I loved the GR1v so much, I bought a GXR. I don't even have a module for the GXR, but I'm saving for one.

Anyway, I love the GR1v and I'm really happy to see a group of enthusiasts getting together around this camera brand.

Hi,

The GR1V often finds its way into my pocket. I plan to take that, plus a GRD to Paris and Venice later in the week. I'll probably carry a ZM and a pocket full of wides too.

Hi kzphoto and welcome on the board! Nice set of photos and not only the photos taken with GR1v. I guess you must impatiently wait for the GXR M mount module scheduled for Autumn this year?

Pavel, you can bet I'll be pre-ordering the module when prices are announced. I'd love to see ricoh make some faster lenses with their APS-C modules too.
