Greetings for everyone from Ukraine! I see here some topics from UK, Europe, US, but not even one from Ukraine, so...it's time to fix this issue)
I'm living on the South part of this beautiful Country and I'm really in love with my Ricoh gears! I've been trying so much different cameras, lenses and systems at all, that is pretty easy to get confuse - counting) Starts from SLR cameras (Canon/Nikon/Kodak 14n), then switch to the MF (Mamiya 645AFD + Kodak Pro Back. Hasselblad H1 + Kodak Pro Back), then jump to digital RF (Leica M8, Epson R-D1s) and finally found a mirrorless cameras for next photo experiments (Fuji X-E1, Ricoh GXR, Ricoh GR Digital).
So, when I'm looking back now to all my previous experience and comparing it with my existing photo stuff - I really found most usable and favorite photo gears...Ricoh GXR with M-Module. I'm really like gorgeous colors that this camera produce and I'm very impressed with it wide lens performance. Yesterday I also bought the first Ricoh GR Digital Camera for the point and shoot street shots, so I'm quite happy for now and ready for a new photo experiments)
Occasionally stumbled today on this forum and found out, that it's right place to get some more information about Ricoh gears + share some thoughts and pics from it)

Welcome to the forum Andreii. Good to see someone from Ukraine, a beautiful country as you say. I have visited it only once on a cruise from Kiev to the Black Sea but would like to visit again. You will find this a friendly forum. The GXR system is quite complex but very rewarding. I find that the GXR with the A12 M mount complements my Leica M system very well and adds a lot of versatility.

You have an interesting set of images from the glorious colours to the gritty B&W urban ones. I look forward to seeing more of your work in future.

Welcome here Andrii, enjoy the forums, and do not hesitate to share more of your work here. I particularly like the "scratched" look of the tailing shots from the set above.

Welcome Andrii,

Great set of images that show your different styles (love them all) - that one with the alligator looks a little challenging and hope there was a fence between you and the beast!

No doubt about it, you are certainly getting the brsty from the GR.

Welcome. Nice to see a long time photographer and great idea to post some images with your hello post.
Very nice style you have. I will have a good look through your flickr.

Alligators are the ones with the pointy nose and the others are crocodiles, but to tell the truth I have never wanted to get close enough to check ...

Andrii, the red flowers are what we call Poinciana here and are sub-tropical - obviously it must be warm enough in the Southern Ukraine.

Welcome to the forum - I like your work.

Andrii,

Thanks for the explanation, I wondered just how warm the south of the Ukraine might be. Here we are sub-tropical (think Cairo) and poinciana grows here (just) but is happier further north nearer the sun. It is not really happy with frost let alone ice and snow.
