I came to the GR3x primarily by Youtube. My Canon G9x ii(?) with its zoom has served me well as a "pocket carry." I was interested in the APS-C and 40mm length... definitely more the wider angles. If anything, I was starting to lean towards 65mm on my A7S ii, trying to attain a 1-1 appearance in the viewfinder.

Much to my surprise, I am really starting to see the advantages of LCD composition with its greater freedom to change angles than on an EVF.*
*Still the EVF is a unique experience and I am eying an Q3 43 :-0.

Thank you for your attention and I look forward to sharing & learning here in a positive environment.
I'll start posting photos soon...

Welcome to GRUF

I use the Q3 43 myself next to a GR3x and GR3 (I will sell my GR4 probably).

Depending on your use cases, the Q3 43 is not worth it compared to the GR3x. Especially at this price point.

The Q3 43 has the best lens I ever had (outside of makro lenses) and it really delivers on 60MP an insane image quality.

But as soon as you use the pixelbinning with 33MP, the differences are tiny vs. the GR3x with 24MP..You need to zoom to more than 100% to see it (GR3x at F2.8 and Q3 43 at F4.0)

Be sure to test it out before you buy the Leica. It is a great camera with great features. But it is bigger, heavier and a lot more expensive. If you do not need F2.0, an EVF, tilting screen nor 60MP for cropping, the GR3x is IMHO the better choice.

Have fun with your 3x!

Thanks for your comments dirk :).
I would compliment the GR3x with the Q3 43: One for everyday carry and the other for my "private, quiet" photography.
Here is my first contribution to the group, with heavy processing in Mac Photos for a saturated effect that I really like (sometimes)...
