I'm hoping someone can help me with the latest firmware update. After going through a lull with my photography and contemplating selling all my gear, I decided with the help of some personal friends who are pro photographers, to reignite the fire again. Of course the GRiii was the camera I turned to out of quite a collection. I checked the firmware updates and found I was way out of date, still on version 1.41! I've spent about 4 hours today trying every way I can to update to the current firmware, but it's just not working. When I transfer the update to the formatted SD card and press 'Menu' and 'On', all I get is the shooting screen. I've tried ensuring there are no odd numbers on the update and have place the update in the root file, basically, I've tried everything and am now totally at a loss as to what I can do. The battery is fully charged, the SD card is fine and formatted, but I'm just not having any luck. Can anyone help...please
