Hello from Spain with GX200

Hi

I have just joined this forum, just to share some experiences and photographic tips with this small camera

I have some other gear like a KM 7D, Sony A700, Sigma 10-20, CZ 16-80, 70-300 SSM. Primes like 24/2.8, 50/1.4, 50/3.5, 100/2, 200/2.8, etc
I have choosen this GX200 for having a small camera for good light shots, riding my bike with it and travel shots. Hope to learn with you to get the maximum of this beauty

Hi gsaronni and welcome here! You seems like prime lenses? Didn't you consider GRD/GRDII? How do you rate GX200 lens compared with your DSLR lenses?

Hi

I have just received the GX200 last friday, so not very much time to test it

I have done some shots at 24mm, and I see very little distorsion compared to the Carl Zeiss 16-80 f3.5-4.5. Images are very detailed, and colours are are natural, just what I like. I did a couple of shot to ISO200 and I am sure it will be my limit, maybe some shots to ISO400. I am used to made clean ISO1600 shots from my A700, so no rival here

The Irodio software is really poor, chunky and slow, so I will have to use Photoshop camera RAW.

When I have time I will do some side by side tests at 24mm focal length and 35mm, my favourite focal lengths
