Hi guys, I have just bought my first Ricoh, the GRD III. It has been great so far and I just bought the wide angle conversion lens today. I can't wait to try it out.
I have been experimenting with photography over the years but have never been serious... until now. I have been through many cameras from Lomo's to Hasselblad. The thing is, I don't wish to carry a heavy SLR type camera but a small compact with manual options. As much as I would like to get a Leica... the price of their accessories have turned me off. This lead me to search for a appropriate camera... the GRD III. I absolutely love how it is built, solid and reliable. I cannot wait to spend more time with it during my school holidays. I will definately try out the photography 'contests' but perhaps from November when I have more time.
This forum is a great resource for Ricoh users and I am looking for like minded hobbyist and professionals to share and learn from.
Thanks for starting a forum like this and I will see you guys around!
