Hello from me as well.... (GRD II)

Hello everyone,

My name is Fabrizio, I am Italian and I live in UK (London).

I have bought my Ricoh GRD II around a month ago and I have been 'lurking' this fantastic forum for sometimes... well it's about time I introduce myself properly I think... sorry for the delay!

My great passion is street photography and until a month ago I have been shooting with a Nikon D300 (a superb camera but with the associated "issues" related to its size and noise of the shutter... . I have enjoyed my first month with my GRD II maybe more than what expected... as a friend of mine once told me: " The GRDII will soon become like a part of your body, a natural extension to your hand" .... and this turned out to be definitely the case - already!

Hi Fabrizio and welcome here! I examined only a small part of your gallery but there is no doubt that the GRD suits your style very well! There are many exceptional photos in your gallery! As you are a Londoner, I hope you will join us during the meet-up?

PS: even if you don't tell me, after seeing your photos I was pretty sure they are RAWs There is no such level of details in GRDII JPEGs.
