Hello all.
For those who don't know where Alameda is, it's a small city across the Bay from San Francisco, next to Oakland.
This is my first post here. But I'm no stranger to Ricoh and of course to photography. I'm an amateur, shooting everything, but my favorites are landscaping and macro.
I've been using a GX200 for a few years now, and just acquired some GXR gears. My favorite is the A16 24-85mm. Its IQ is amazing, better than my Pentax DA* 16-50mm + K7, albeit slower.
Hope to learn a lot from you folks.
The flash is of course not Ricoh. It's a Metz 32Z-2. I like it because it balances very well with the A16.
In front of the A16 is a 55-43mm stepdown adapter ring to provide some protection for the lens. I find a "normal" hood too clumsy for me. 43mm is as small as I can go without vignetting.
