Hi everyone - it was a really nice surprise to get the invitation as a former member of the "old" forum (Pavel's). So first of all thanks very much to dirk for the efforts in putting this all together, and of course to Pavel for starting it all off.
A special hello to Genster, riccadonna, Blow-in, thelps, petach, lansky, Wiener and anyone else who was on the forum during the years 2011-2015, when I joined. There was a nice sense of community and it was good seeing shots from all over. I hope everyone is well.
Don't know how much I will be posting, but I will certainly check in from time to time. This even might get me to take more photos, as I am doing this less than in the past.

I started with the PX. I really enjoyed it as my first digital camera. Moved on to the GR after the PX died, and then moved on to a GR2, after the GR also conked out. Both the PX and GR gave up the ghost after 4 years each. I did an "autopsy" on the GR before I bought the GR2, and found it to be full of dust, plus engineered quite poorly with respect to durability. So now my GR2 has the lens protector on at all times, and the camera itself is always covered when not in use. Even the mic hole is taped off. And I suppose its fragility is the main reason I use it less, and only when I feel that I will have special shooting opportunities (by that I mean time to be concentrated on shooting, and interesting scenes).

These days I work as a farmer and also as a mountain-bike path builder. And on "life" generally.... ;)

Here are some from my walks. Have a good 2023 everyone.
