My trusty GX 200 is my favourite time lapse camera but I am thinking about upgrading to the GXR and having an S10 for time lapse. Are then any big negatives in doing this? I'm more concerned about the leaf shutter on the GXR for instance? Functionality looks the same otherwise. Kind regards - digi2ap

If the GXR size is not a problem for you, then there is nothing to worry about. S10 module uses more or less the same lens and shutter mechanism as GX200. The only real difference is form factor and 10MP instead of 12MP CCD sensor. Leaf shutter is only available A12 models. Hope this helps?
