Just for fun I thought I'd see if my old Zuiko 50mm f1,8 might be able to serve as a macro lens. I have the complete set of OM extension tubes, but decided to use only the 25mm with this setup. To stabilize everything, the rig was on a tripod, and I used a tripod collar purchased on eBay ($7 USD) clamped around my COMA OM to M lens adapter. In the first two images you can see the setup. The third was taken with the A12-M in "A". Lighting was window light with no fill. Lens aperture f8. ISO 400. Exposure time 1 second. Focus assist used. CA-1 used to minimize vibration. All images here are from jpg files. No sharpening was added to the actual macro image.
I also dragged out my old Olympus Macro Twin Flash, but a piece needed to be re-glued so it'll be a few hours before I can try it. Stayed tuned. I'll post the results later.
