GX200 bugs

Hi, here's some macro shots taken with GX200. I hope you may have as much as fun watching as I did shooting ;-)

Great photos Rui. I like the vibrant colors and composition. My most favorite photos are 4th and the last one (especially the last one is great).

When i first saw the subject line I thought it was something entirely different.
What kind of bug is the 4th photo?
I haven't had a chance to really explore with the macro function, but hope to get aroudn to that at some point.

Wonderful work Rui. Once again you have showed us your skill and, an interesting viewpoint. I very much like these bright sharp insect images, and your examples are wonderful, both in choice of subjects and your rendering of light and colour.

I like the last one a lot, something about the contrast on yellow brings out the detail!

My wife enjoyed them as well! Thanks for posting these.

Sometimes I find some unexpected bug in my walks, like this (R4):

I also have some very, ahammm, explicit. From some private moments. But I wonder how they might bug the forum moderator... :lol:

No problems with posting any kind of photos Rui. Even explicit or nude photos are allowed. We have no strict rules as some other sites. Of course, the photos must not be vulgar or disgusting.

Good works, man! GX200 is probabky the best camera in its class for Marco. The other day I went on hiking with some friends. Turned to the digital marco mode, my GX200 outperformed the G10 in shooting spiders in scenes with contrasting ligthing conditions.

I still don't know the right name of the last bug in English. Would it be simply "firefly"? In Portuguese is "pirilampo", but haven't got a proper translation yet...

Just to clarify, the macro "violence shots" come from my R4. Comparing some shots with GX200, R4 really has some kind of a "punch"

Perfect set of shots Rui. The grasshoppers gazing at the camera are great. Also the ants fighting with the millipede are impressive.

As about the last one, it seems to be a firefly.
