Ciao all,

I'm a Ricoh fan since 2007 ...if I remember well when I bought a GX100.
Loved this camera immediately.
Last December I nice guy or maybe more comes into my flat trough the window and my GX100 and Mamiya 6 were gone forever!
Now I bought a GX200 and dream about both GRD and GXR...need to decide especially because they are not that cheap at least for me!
I have much to learn and I'm confident that this forum will be the right place!
Ciao from Tuscany,
Valerio

WAW!!
Thanks for visiting Onitsuka!!!
Did you see what the GX100 was able to do?!

I would participate to the next Contest. But I have a question for Odklizec, how can I be sure the Exif data is still there before I'll submit my image?! I did not know it was possible fully delete the EXIF data. Is this data not part of the File?
Txs,
valerio

Valerio, preserving EXIF is just a question of your photo editor. Most of good editors allows to keep EXIF. But for if you for example use the "Save for WEB" option, the EXIF is usually stripped of the photo.

Before you upload your photo, simply open the photo in a photo editor/viewer and examine its metadata. What editor/viewer do you use?

I use Photoshop CS 4 and Lightroom! So if I'll save it simply in Jpeg without select "Save for Web", it should be ok. I can check opening the saved file with Lightroom and check if I can see the metadata?!

Dear Genster,

thank you very much for your comment on my Photo page!
Very appreciated!
Unfortunately I've few time to spend on it and would give more time into my hobby!

By the way, I want to thank this site, admin, supporters and all participating people, because I find it really interesting and it seems to be able to keep my "photo entousiasm" more alive! And this helps to make my working day "lighter"!Thanks and congrats for your Great job!

My nick name is IlConte (due to a unique combination: friends of my father call him in this way since yaears and fully occasionally a colleague of me (which does not know my family) call me in the same way!!), so if you have nothing against I would start to use it here too.

Ciao,

IlConte
