Hello, I bought a GR IIIx to augment professional work with Nikon and Fuji systems. I wanted something for long walks that I could fit in my pocket and had a great lens. I am amazed at the quality of the images this little camera makes. Better, IMO than the Fujifilm XV100 that I ended up selling.
I do have a problem though. Ricoh was of no help in investigating this. I find that there is a pink/red tonal shift at the outer edges of images taken in landscape format. I am attaching an image of the snow taken in daylight conditions and even lighting. Its a bit like vignetting, except it involves color and does not have the characteristic concave/barrel shape of exposure-related vignetting. Please look carefully because the effect is fairly subtle.
Note: the image has not been altered except for Lightroom's built in profile correction.
Anyone else see an effect like this?
