GR-killer Minox B

I recently aquired a Minox B 'spy' camera (1960, film format 8x11mm) :D
Since there are no more films to buy, it might be of interest that you can use Super 8 film.
This requires only the take-up spool (without cassette) to fix the film: 60cm thin-film fit into the camera, which gives 40 to 45 shots.

ISO 12 B&W-film expired, @ ISO 6 - Microphen 1+9 approx. 2' - scanned and then processed in SilverEfexPro2

This takes us back to the future. Those images are very "1930's" proving that the subject scenes are "old enough" and the images match our sense of history.

Now us lazybones just need a filter effect to turn our regular GXR images into "Minox-style".

Thanks for sharing these your effort has been well worth it.

Christian,
All the photos are wonderful, "echt klasse"!!!
very good idea with the Super 8 Film. What about the Normal 8 Film? Does that one fit as well without Perforation?
Thanks for the creative idea and sharing the pics.

best regards
Jochen

I had a lot of fun to outwit the Minox B with Super 8 film and now I am delighted to read the feedback. ;)
Thanks very much!

Danke, Jochen!
About sprocket film holes I found: '...Super 8 film 'is nominally 8 mm wide, exactly the same as the older standard 8 mm film, and also has perforations on only one side. However, the dimensions of the perforations are smaller than those on older 8 mm film...'

All the best,
Christian
