Its a pretty dynamic and interesting photograph. I do think that the face is by far the most compelling feature, but I think it should be centered more. If you have to - crop part or all of the cross. I think you need more contrast in the face. The shadows look over-lightened, and I would add some more brightness in the highlights of the face. The overall impression is too much middle gray.
