GF-1 flash comments?

Thinking about getting the GF-1 flash. I'd like to make the GXR my only camera for a while, but in some circumstances I need flash. I don't like direct flash and use bounce flash (or direct flash as fill flash outdoors). Any comments on the GF-1 usage? Thanks.

I got GF1 with GXR, but I had no chance yet to test it. The truth is that I will have to buy some rechargeable batteries To be honest, I prefer not to use flash and rather raise the ISO. Flash distracts people and the size and weight of GF1 is simply ridiculous.
