Hello guys!

Have been away, working after returning to work, traveling to China, and now back to work again... now I really need some vacations!! ;-)

And a break too, so I went to my China folders and picked up some random photos - its good to do some things almost randomly to relax a bit ;-)

So here goes, China Random Postcards

This time I had a blast with GX200's "My1/2/3" settings. Because of the diversity of situations I used this feature for the first time. Quite useful and handy!

I was also very happy to have the wide lens on the camera, wich helped me realize how big things are in China! Many times the 19mm lens wasen't wide enought!

Thanks for looking, have fun!

Nice work Rui, I like #1 and the last one is great, the umbrella puts a modern twist on such an old thing.

The #1 shot is great. I believe you enjoyed the China trip Rui. Please post more photos.

Peter

Nice to see you back Rui! So are you now fully recovered and ready for work? ;) First and last photo are my favorites!

Hi Rui,
good to see you back on the forum. I missed already your pictures and inspiration.

Please more from the China - Trip. Maybe on your flickr side.....? I´ll go and see...... ;)

( what happened with your R4 ? )

Markus

Welcome back indeed! Your tallents are indeed missed! :)
And I completely understand about the need for WIDE in China...it is indeed a vast space to fit into a little GX200... ;)
Andy

Thanks guys! Glad you like the photos ;-)

Not fully recovered yet, but have to survive to a "normal" life... considering the rebuilding works on my school are finishing now and we have to reinstal all our materials, you can imagine that it's not the best time for me :-(

China experience was also a little too hard for my knee, but I had a help from a Chinese full body massage that made wonders (still is, I believe, more than a month later!!). But I have to live according to my own limitations, which is OK if I don't need to run to catch the bus

China is a kind of a "once in a life time" thing. So vaste, so intense and rich, so unique and diverse at the same time, that we're still processing all that we experienced there. The photos are still waiting for processing too, but that will take even longer

Markus, my R4 "works", but doesn't regist any photos. It turns on, extend the lens, but the LCD is black and no file is recorded when pressing the shutter. I'm sorry for that, but cannot justify sending it to repair having an R3 nearly abandoned because of GX200...

More news and photos will came, that's a promise :p
