German obsession: The Forest

Every time when I out for a walk in a forest I take some picture. Sometimes I bring one or two interesting photos home while deleting more than 2 dozens.
I hope you share my obession. ;-)

I do share it: I delete almost every photo.

There is something magical in the forest photos taken/processed in B&W. I miss something in the first photo but second one looks nice...almost infrared! Thanks for sharing!

To me it is the opposite way around. I mean, the first photo conceals something the light behind the small young trees. The second photo is more like a mixed bag. It has a lot of structure and detail, but a center is missing.

I too delete my forest photos. It's so hard (for me at least) to create depth with a background of trees. Anyone has any tips...?
