Full On Graffiti

Is there ever a case for 'improving' existing art by PP? I got the urge to do this after I captured this the other day...after all, is not graffiti there to be overtaken by the next artist that comes along?
Should I feel guilty I wonder...but hey, this much less destructive than overpainting! :D

PS, I seem to have created a 'monster' in file-size also! I will amend and repost sometime soon...

love the colours here andy , what is the bunker structure ? and dont mind the big file detail .... that cigarette end by the arrow tip come's through lovely !.

perhaps lost in translation  , but did you pp - paint this yourself , or enhance/add etc .

Cheers , Kort .

Post processing graffiti must be allowed. It is an unasked art, like a spam, so you can do with it what you want, IMHO. Or? :)
Also, the authors would most probably be very proud knowing you posted their products here as they now entered the history this way.

By the way, Andy, your version is perfect that vivid and eye catching. Great work.

Peter

OK, smaller size plus original.
I would not normally dream of post processing to this degree, but somehow the subject matter cried out loud for it...makes me think that there is scope for further art-improvement projects in the future!

Khort, as can now probably be seen, the art is all theirs, not mine! And the canvas is actually a granite bridge support 'pier' or foundation carrying trains across the Donau Kanal.
They DO like their graffiti to be bold down that end of town!
Andy

thanks for the explanation andy :) ... very kind .

You have improved the image ! , the detail & colour as said : 'perfect - vivid and eye catching' , need for PP ? of course ...being as lighting conditions are rarely perfect, without pp here the structure and artwork seemed washed out or flat ,for sure there is no doubt that your processing has brought the subject to life.

Cheers , Kort

Nice work.

I think the post process is perfect. It creates a better final image. I think subtle processing is always fine. It is the same as messing around in a dark room to get different results. Photographers have always used post processing... used to be dark room, now it's digital.
