I took this shot a few weeks ago with a CX3 we have - I use it occasionally when I need a tele lens. From memory it was at full zoom and I'm surprised at how it turned out.

Love anything that floats but even more these "last century" narrow beams! Pretty strong gale blowing having a look at the choppy sea and the palm trees. Really nice capture that transmits the ambient!
 
Floats my boat too. Lovely hull shape. Clearly windy but at least there are no real waves on the moorings. Works very well in contrasty B&W but sepia could also be interesting given the age of the principal subject.

Interesting effect the choppy water creates...it looks more solid than liquid! I guess the BBC would have reported a big freeze down under though... ;)

Really, it might well be snow instead of water. Nevertheless, going sepia improved the visual effect IMHO. Good idea Richard.
